Preheat oven to 400° F. Microwave 6 whole-wheat tortillas, one at a time, on high for 10 seconds or until just warm. Fold each tortilla in half and then in half again. Fold in half one more time so the tortilla resembles a wedge. Using kitchen shears, cut triangles, circles, and/or squares on the edges of the tortilla, as if you were making a paper snowflake. Unfold and place on a large baking sheet. Repeat for each remaining tortilla. Brush each tortilla lightly with canola oil. Bake for 5 to 8 minutes or until lightly browned and crisp, turning once. Transfer to a wire rack. Generously sift powdered sugar over the warm tortillas; to add more seasonal flavor, sprinkle with brown sugar, nutmeg, or cinnamon.
